Ascend to infinity, gaze about
at the fires ablaze, shimmering
in the cool breeze, but deep inside
my cave, I'm snug and warm.
The clicking and clacking,
mixed with the soft pitter patter of rain,
drown out the screams of sanctimonius silence,
echoing into the night.
Dawn breaks but I pay it no mind
There is only the next mission, the next line
to cross, the objective to be seized.
Chapters to be read and episodes to watch,
Spots of color, agonizing headaches
Yes I am a gamer and an otaku too,
wouldn't it be nice if I ever noticed you?

First I would like to say you did a good job on keeping a steady rythm on each of the verses and having a specific meter. I noticed that you may have focused mostly on enjambment and included as much assonance and alliteration as you could. This poems easy to get the rythm or feel of. It's fluent and easy to read.
